I was invited to share a few words in a house dedication service.

I entitled my sharing: Make This House A Home!

The scripture lesson was taken from 1 Corinthians 13 : 1-8a .

The following is part of my sharing:

A house is definitely not a home.

A home is where you experience a sense of warmth and love.

A home is where you find affirmation and acceptance.

A home is where you feel safe and secure.

A home is where you can shut out all the competition, pressures and expectation of the outside world , and just relax and rest.

A home is where you can nurse your injuries, recover from your wound and rest your tired body and mind.

A home is where you are nurtured to be a better person while we live in a broken world.

Fill this house with love and the house will become a home.

And where there is love, there is GOD and GOD is Love!
