Half the year has just gone by and I have noticed that the word “Glory” stands out most significantly. God is allowing significant events to direct us in order to keep us focus in all we do to behold His glory.

Beginning of the year, we were challenged to build our altar and drawing near to God simply by establishing His glory in our lives. The “Living Hope” devotional guide reminds us to see and resolve our hidden agenda, so that we have the right image as Christ restored us. This enables us to reflect His glory.

Following that, we celebrated His Resurrection and held the Mission Conference as we aim to declare His glory (Psalm 96). Around this time, though a number of our members were not well, yet the glory of God is manifested through our love, prayers and support of God’s family.

Recently, the camp speaker, Rev. Chris Long reminded us to live a blessed life and to shine His glory like light in the city. Even in the midnight hours, whether be it through sickness or crisis, we can still bring Him glory.
