There was a box of half a dozen bottles of Chicken Essence on my table when I arrived at the church office this morning. I immediately asked one of our administrative staff who had placed it on my table.  She replied that it was received from one of our elderly church members. I instantly gave her a call and expressed my thanks to her.

This elderly church member is more than 80 years old. She is still very fit and always arrive church earlier than anyone of us. She serves faithfully in the church kitchen and she is one of those who served quietly without people noticing her.

Recently her daughter had passed away and I was very concern for her well being and she held on to her faith in God without wavering though she is still grieving over her loss.

These are the people who will uplift you and motivate you while we journeyed through this spiritual pilgrimage. These people are not famous, not in the limelight; they even have encountered tragedy in their lives but they stay focus. With tears in their eyes and pain in their heart, they stay faithful to the Lord.  As a pastor, I am truly blessed by this lady and many others like her.

May we be encouraged and continue to uphold one another. May we be a blessing to one another as we press on.

God bless you.
