Objective:

• The objective of Ground Academy is to provide members and friends of Hinghwa Methodist Church
  with life changing biblical knowledge so that one can apply to daily lives. Our spiritual, but practical curriculum helps you to grow across three different levels of faith – Foundational, Discipleship and Leadership. We also offer Electives that enriches your daily living through Christian perspectives.

The Foundational Level focuses on being established in the Christian faith. The focus is on “knowing and applying” the Word of God to daily lives. We provide a 12 week core Christianity session that covers:

• Assurance of Salvation
• The Word of God
• The Power of Prayer
• The Discipline of Quiet Time
• The Church of the Living God
• The Lifestyle of Worship
• The Beatitude of Giving
• The Importance of Witnessing
• The Father Heart of God
• The Lordship of Christ
• The Work of the Holy Spirit
• Going on to Maturity

The Discipleship Level equips you for Christian ministry and focuses on “Being”. This level helps you to gain deeper, but yet practical Christian understanding of things such as book and character studies, effective bible studies, apologetics, ministry skills training, identifying and exercising your spiritual gifting.

The Leadership Level empowers you to serve God by focusing on “Doing”. We incorporate leadership skills training, Leader to Leader workshops, missions, and teaching around the five fold ministries (apostles, prophets, teachers, evangelists, pastors).

Our Electives Level provides you a Christian perspective on daily living. Our topics include current issues around parenting, marriage, finance and marketplace that are relevant to the Singapore culture.

Schedule:
Check calendar, but sessions normally run on Saturdays @ 4.00pm and Sundays @ 9.00am
